Best Font Websites? Free Or With Letter Setter?

where can i find great free fonts, or websites with “letter setters” to test the fonts before i buy them? I know about 1001 free fonts, and such, but I am in school, and the professors expect more ingenuity than what those sites have to offer- any suggestions? thanks!

This site is in Spanish but you can find alot of fonts there for free. Just type in the font you want in the little red box in the upper right corner ( I think it says “buscar font” in it but I’m not sure.http://www.sofontes.com.br/
also, here’s a site you can type in the words you want to test and do it that way too without downloading anything.:
Just type what you want in the box that says “custom view”http://www.dafont.com/alpha.php?lettre=a

http://www.dafont.com/ is, in my opinion, the best font site there is out there. They have *tons* of amazing fonts and letter setters for each and every one.
Most sites where you need to purchase fonts in order to download them have letter setters, and sometimes, a purchased font can appear for free download on 4shared.com (http://www.4shared.com/network/search.js…
You could also search through Yahoo! Answers and/or a search engine such as Google for more font sites.

http://www.WhatTheFont.com is a good one, plus it allows you to type your own line of text to test the font out.
