Anyone have several websites for prospective movers, that rank cities, states, educatuon, largest employers, numbers of businesses, median income, living standards, educational standards, relative tax rates, geography and anything else one might want to find out about a town, county or city where i might be moving to ?

I am interested in doing a few sprint triathlons this summer in the chicago region. I would like to know about a few websites that provide info, so that I think further of registering myself. Thanks!

I need reputable websites with statistics about what demographics are in the welfare program, how long they stay on welfare, etc. Any ideas where to look? I tried googling “welfare statistics” and couldn’t find anything I could use for my paper.

OK. So do you know the font on the cover of the books? I heard it was zephyr but when I type in zephyr for free downloadable fonts its not that font that I wanted! So do you know the real name of the font or a website that I can get it? Thanks!

Yes fonts you see them in Word , Excel and frontpage…etc.
That tells about their origin, differences between them meaning of calligraphy and typeface etc…

I have a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and am thinking of going back to school to get another degree in Wisconsin at a smaller college or institute.
I know the benefits of going back for my Master’s but I am thinking of maybe getting my Associate’s degree (2 years) in something like Advertising, Bus. Admin., or Marketing. So…
What are the benefits of an Associate’s Degree?
Do many employers notice that you have more than one degree?
Are there smaller schools in Wisconsin that you’d recommend? (ex: Marion College, Fox Valley, etc.)
What area of study would you recommend to someone that already has a degree in graphic design?
** My inspiration for this move is losing my FT job and now searching a limited job market while I freelance design from home.

Guys, I really need your input on this one. I’m writing Stripe Designer at ( http://alexle.net/experiments/sd/ ) — It’s still in Beta at this time.
As I’m having so much fun making the app, I have another idea about writing an e-book on the step by step making of this web 2.0 app: from designing the template in Photoshop, to implementing the CSS, to writing Javascript using JSON with AJAX, to developing the back-end with PHP/ MySQL. The ebook is like a series of in-depth tutorials that covers both the background info (like CSS, JSON, AJAX fundamentals etc.) and how to develop a solution with the provided tools.
I’d think a person (especially beginner) can really see how everything in the Web2.0 spectrum is pieced together in a “real world” application (’real’ as in a reality show :D)
If I spend time writing this e-book, will you consider buying it? If so, how much are you willing to pay for it?
